COMPANY
Established in 2021, Emotive Creative, a design studio, uses its passion for art and social change to make people happy.
A quick explanation about the ECD logo. It started as a self-portrait, which I then uploaded to my iPad and traced and digitized in photoshop. For the color-scheme I referenced the red, gold, black, and green from the Pan-African flag. Next, I added the outline of a city in the background to represent Oakland’s downtown skyline. The logo represents diversity and the roller coaster of emotions we all experience. I want the logo, and hand-crafted text I created that spell out my company name, to feel organic and authentic. The ECD logo represents many different things to me including life, my origins, and creativity.
MISSION
At ECD our mission is to figure out a way to impact homelessness through something we love to do. We believe that just because you don’t have enough money, doesn’t mean that you should be forgotten and not live a good life.
A portion of any money we make will be collected and given to companies that also believe in our mission.
